About the Villa
Villa Andy is located in one of the most beautiful areas of the Canary Islands, just off National Park Timanfaya, in the unique, small village of Yaiza, where the traditional architecture predominates, awarded several times as the cleanest town. This modern detached villa on one floor is in the valley area of rural Yaiza, with some neighbouring rental villas and traditional canarian country fincas, some of which typically keep some animals such as chickens, a few goats, dogs and a cockerel here and there, so you will experience the wonderful sounds of the canarian countryside away from the bustling crowds. There is a local sports centre a few minutes away that has a gym, paddle and tennis courts.
The location is a great starting point to visit the main attractions of the island, just 10 minutes by car from the Puerto Calero Marina, Playa Quemada, Playa Blanca, Marina Rubicon, the Papagayo beaches, National Park Timanfaya, the wine route through the unique landscape of La Geria, and the pretty fisherman village El Golfo, well known for its traditional restaurants and amazing sunset.
Equipment: This modern spacious villa, built on one level boasts has an spacious living room, a fully equipped kitchen, 2 double bedrooms, 1 twin bedroom and 2 bathrooms (1 en suite). Air conditioning units and ceiling fans both in the living room and main bedroom. The living room has direct access to the Terrace and is furnished with two sofas and a 47″ cinema-plasma screen with Sat tv.
It enjoys great communications with 1Gb fiber optic internet Wifi, allowing fast speed surfing either for remote working or for leisure. Digital nomads are welcome!
Outside area: Fully detached, the villa has a large outside area with two terraces one at the front and one at the back. The front terrace enjoys fantastic views of the surrounding mountains. It has a private heated pool, canarian gardens, a solarium furnished with 6 sunbeds and a dining table. The back terrace is orientated to the west, furnished with a corner chill out sofa, a dining table and a large brick built BBQ. From the rear you will enjoy amazing sunsets going down on the sea in the wonderful climate of Lanzarote, with views over the village and the volcanic landscape.
Environment: At Villa Andy you can enjoy a holiday in a unique environment, surrounded by the hills of Los Ajaches, amongst traditional white houses of Yaiza, with gardens that often grow tropical fruits, aromatic herbs and vegetables, using lava soil to retain the humidity. And beyond the village, the moonlike lava landscape, the mountains of fire, and an unspoilt coastline. The warmth of the sun going down the horizon into the sea, close to Los Hervideros and the Janubio Salinas.
